TechSoup is seeking a Dev-Ops Engineer based out of our office in Warsaw, Poland,  with server and web application experience to help build, operate, and support our next generation Platform solutions. We are looking for passionate IT infrastructure operations experts with experience delivering high quality platform solutions that support a variety of customer use cases. We want someone who can work well across several technology stacks, and the data systems that support them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design for, recommend, implement, and support needed systems architecture to support a system of web platforms and applications that can scale to millions of users and hundreds of millions of interactions.
  • Day-to-day support of platform applications and the supporting infrastructure systems, resolving and troubleshooting low-level issues as they arise, and working closely with enterprise architects to resolve critical and long-term systems issues
  • Create and manage automated deployment routines for infrastructure builds.
  • Implement and manage monitoring tools and response protocols.
  • Build and release software regularly, ensuring that frequent releases are production-level quality.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous innovative improvement
  • Daily duties include also development of applications supporting business requirements and general IT support to the team in the office..


Education and Requirements:


  • Degree in computer science or other technical discipline.


  • 3 years of experience in developing large-scale systems and web applications
  • Expert understanding of web and database technologies (Linux, Java, object- oriented JavaScript) and have experience with current web standards. Understanding of laaS cloud infrastructure system such as AWS and Azure, including IP networking expertise and DNS are required.
  • Expert understanding of web application and Internet security best practices and developing applications using Java, JavaScript, C#, and/or other programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
  • Fluency in English is required.
